For patients struggling with chronic pain and muscle weakness, a daily routine can be a constant struggle. Thankfully, bracing technology has improved dramatically over the years, allowing patients with a wide variety of conditions to maintain their quality of life. Conditions which can benefit from bracing range from muscle weakness and lower back pain to disc degeneration and spinal disorders, as well as post-operative patients who are simply in need of additional support during their recovery period.

We offer a variety of braces from industry leading manufacturers, individually selected by your doctor or other qualified medical professional to meet each patient’s specific needs. We utilize braces with a lightweight, modular design which allows for easy, on the spot adjustments, and a level of comfort previously unimaginable to many of our newly-relieved patients.

In addition to our popular back brace products, we also provide our patients with a wide array of knee, ankle, and wrist braces. As with our back braces, these products are tailored to a patient’s specific needs as determined by consulting with their doctor.

We work with licensed providers that except Medicare, Medicaid, as well as some private insurers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield. Our experienced bracing specialists will work with you and your doctor to find the right products for your specific needs and conditions. Additionally, our representative will work with your insurance to minimize – and in many cases, eliminate all together – the out-of-pocket cost to the patient for the medical equipment they need to maintain their quality of life. If you or a loved one is suffering from conditions that may benefit from bracing solutions, do not hesitate, and call 704-821-7777.

The LumboLoc Forte XT (short for “extended”) lumbar orthosis provides powerful relief for the lumbar spine and helps to reduce pain. Its strong, firm knitted fabric with built-in dorsal corset stays stabilizes the torso and gently straightens the back. The abdominal compression can be adjusted using a Velcro fastening. The relieving effect of the orthosis is boosted by the height-adjustable tensioning strap system and large chair back panel. The pad lies flat along the entire lumbar spine, supporting its lordosis. The lumbar spine is further straightened through the tensile force of the straps. An abdominal pad enhances this effect. The circular compression exerted by the knitted fabric of the orthosis is particularly intense in combination with muscle tension. The muscle-activating massage effect is therefore stronger during movement, when the intermittent compression stimulates the stabilizing abdominal and back muscles, and improves muscle control through sensorimotor feedback processes. The knitted fabric of the LumboLoc Forte XT is comfortably breathable and moisture-regulating. Practical hand straps on the abdominal fastening and the handy “low power tension” strap system make it quick and easy to put on the orthosis.
